Grant's Gardens, Inc. is a fine landscape gardening company, established in 2000. Through a passion for landscape design coupled with a keen interest in horticulture and arboricultural, our team has been able to develop a landscape company with a reputation for excellence. We work closely with our clients and collaborate effectively with the design team to ensure successful landscape projects. The maintenance of the property is paramount. Through effective communication and guidance our landscape maintenance crews will ensure the that the landscape design flourishes to its full potential.
Started in 2000 by Grant Beatt, Grant’s Gardens, Inc. strives to provide a high level of customer service as well as landscape services based on sound horticultural best practices. Grant, a South African native, has spent his entire career studying horticulture and landscape design. He is passionately interested in the importance of combining native plant material with more tropical plants, developing a strong soil profile, and managing water use to create a healthy environment. He is actively engaged in continuing education, reading numerous professional journals and websites from around the world. Grant prides himself on being “ahead of the curve” and setting the pace for others to follow.
Grant Beatt holds the following certifications:

In 2001, Grant convinced his wife, Danielle to join him and make Grant’s Gardens, Inc. a family affair. Danielle left her job as a Social Worker with Jewish Family and Children’s Service and took over the administrative side of the business. The couple built the business from home while their two children, Hannah and Julia were toddlers. Danielle has since moved into management of the administrative staff and is the Chief Financial Officer.
Glenn Souza joined our team in 2004. Having already had 15 years of management experience with Young’s Landscape, Glenn was able to help us build the maintenance division of Grant’s Gardens, Inc. His extensive knowledge of landscape design, irrigation, pest control and fertilization has made our company one of Southwest Florida’s premier landscape maintenance and design companies. Glenn holds certifications in Florida Green Industries Best Management Practices, Florida Pest Control Id cardholder, and is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture.
The collaboration between Grant, Glenn and Danielle has allowed Grant’s Gardens, Inc. to grow from a small, specialized maintenance company to a full service design/build firm. Grant focuses primarily on comprehensive outdoor design, integrating the outdoor livable space in harmony with the design of the house. He works together with architects and builders to develop the master plan. Glenn also provides landscape design services and has an eye for renovation of existing landscapes. Additionally, he manages the operations of the Maintenance Division both on Longboat Key and the mainland. Danielle’s primary focus is on the financial health of the company. She works together with our administrative staff to provide excellent customer service and individual attention to each customer.
